8 min to Kembangan MRT, 20 min to Raffles Place.
3 min to minimarts, video rental, food court, clinic.
20 min run to the beach by the canal, 10 min on rollerblades.


Broadband wifi, cable TV, washing machine, well equipped kitchen, cleaning & ironing services every fortnight, dry cleaner on call.


Sharing with two other foreigners working for MNCs who enjoys watching DVDs together. We are looking for someone who would also make this a home and not just a rented space.

No. Not true. What this really means: You cannot work for a Singapore registered company without a work permit... employment pass, S-Pass, or work pass. You cannot run your own business supplying goods or services in Singapore without a company and a work permit.

Do you see that the whole point of the work pass process .....

It’s an interesting question. I think there are multiple ways to approach this with varying sets of risks. I assume you are asking about the lowest risk approach, which is everything in black and white, completely above board.

Let me start off with three assertions which I believe to be correct —

First, a DP does not give you the right to work while you are in Singapore, no matter what the capacity or the employer. Permission to work under a DP must be requested either by the employer sponsoring the EP or the company/agency employing you.

Second, company presence here has no bearing on your income tax liability in Singapore. The income will almost certainly be taxable in Singapore, but that is not necessarily a bad thing since income tax rates are lower here than in the US.

Third, as a US citizen, your worldwide income is subject to US income tax no matter where you live. However, between the foreign earned income exclusion, foreign housing exclusion and the foreign tax .....

Statutory Declarations for my both parents LTVP Applications

Hi Everyone, I would like to ask for the advise on getting Statutory Declaration in Singapore law firm.

I am a Singapore Citizen. My parents are Indonesian Chinese. On 17th Nov 2020, I submitted Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) Application for both my Father and Mother. On Saturday, 21 Nov 2020, i received an email from the ICA to submit the clarification request. In email indicate:

1) submission of Statutory declaration by Applicants/Sponsor ("The Statutory Declaration should explain the name difference in Applicant's passport and Sponsor's Birth Certificate*Required)
2) Letter fro Embassy to explain the name difference in Applicant's passport and Sponsor's Birth Certificate*Required

My Parents' Passport biodata is not match with their name indicated on my birth certificate. (My parents passport do have Surname) however, content of my Birth certificate does not have surname indicated for both my parents name. As under Indonesia law, chinese ethnic do not allowed Surname to be .....
