I've been back on my diet (very loosely to be honest) but have actually only cut out snacking as due to retirement and 3 years of covid, I'd packed on about 12 kg over where I'm happy. So about 10 weeks ago I bit the bullet and decided to get back down to where I feel best. I was 84.4 kg when I started and this morning I went under 74 to 73.7 kg. My goal is 71~72kg which will put me back into my 32 inch 501's again. My 34s are now loose and baggy/saggy fortunately I still have some 33s to get me through the interim transition. Feeling good (and some of you who where at our last drinking session can attest to my girth before starting on the downward slope). As usual, My HBP is down 20 points and the doc will probably take me off of the pills again as it's been shown time .....

Re: PR Approval Chances

Don’t even waste time and money re-applying if there are absolutely no changes to occupation and salary, and lack of EP.

Donation, volunteering, insurance policies and investments have ZERO value to PR application so no need to bother with those.

Re-apply when either of you get EP and have substantial increase in salary. But even then, chances are still low as you’re in “Others” race where it’s the biggest number of applicants for the smallest quota.

From what i've read at this forum, here's what i can see:

Cons: Race, Salary, length of stay, line of work, type of pass
Pros: Nil

intermittent fasting hands down. Started at 72kg and maintained 62kg for 2 years already. I'm 5'7". Also reduce sugar, carbs and that's it.

Went also for workouts and this added the nice curves and "packs" i have dreamt of before lol
❱❱

How do you fast? How many days would you do fasting for the first time?
❱❱

16-8 fasting, 5 days a week. Reduced to 12-12 on weekends due to light drinks. Easier to follow by just skipping bfast.
