Forging refers to a process that involves forming a metal using localized compressive forces, and it can be further divided into cold forging, warm forging, or hot forging based on temperature at which it is performed. Compared with cast alloy steel forged bars, hot forged bars are harder, stronger, and more durable. Forged parts can be found in a variety of mechanisms and machine uses when shear strength, impact, and high strength qualities are required.

As the forged round bar suppliers, Cumic provides great hot forged steel bars. If you are interested in our products, please contact us!

Types of Hot Forged China Steel Bar
Low-alloy structural steels refer to the types of alloy steels with a small amount of alloy elements less than 3%, which includes many standards and proprietary grades designed to provide a specific combination of required characteristics.

Alloy Structural Steel
Alloy structural steel are the type of steels formed by adding different proportions of alloying elements like manganese, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium.

Free Cutting Non-Quenched & Tempered Steel
Free-cutting steels are the type of steels made by alloying with additional free-cutting elements such as sulfur, lead, bismuth, phosphorus, selenium, and tellurium.

Stainless Steel Round Bar
China stainless steel round bar is a versatile material used for a wide range of purposes.

Stainless Steel Flat Bar
Stainless steel flat bar is a versatile material that can be found in a variety of applications including architecture, medical equipment, packaging equipment.

PRODUCT RANGE OF HOT FORGED STEEL BAR
At CUMIC Steel, our forged bars enable us to serve our customers in providing a variety of applications, such as bearings, transmissions, heavy engineering, hydraulics, etc. Our product range includes forged round bars, forged square bars, forged blocks, forged rings that are in sync with different commercial grades and international standards. The dimension tolerances of the forged steel bars can also be tailored to your specific needs.

DEVELOPMENT OF FORGED STEEL ROUND BAR
With the development trend of high strength and lightweight parts, the forging industry to pursue high material utilization, high precision, high efficiency, low energy consumption, low cost and other goals. The development of forged steel round bar is inseparable from the evaluation and application technology development. Hot forging steel for easy cutting, non-quenching, cold forging steel to simplify heat treatment is to reduce the cost of the parts process, improve production efficiency and energy saving, the main material technology; micro-alloying is to improve the toughness of parts and process performance, to obtain high-performance, low-cost forgings effective means.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FORGED STEEL ROD AND OTHER STEEL BARS
1.Appearance

Forged steel rod: light garden, no grain without ribs;

Other steel bars: surface appearance has a carved pattern or rib.

This causes the bonding force of round steel and concrete is small, while other steel bars and concrete bonding force is large.

2.Different ingredients

Forged steel rod (primary steel) belongs to the ordinary low carbon steel, other steel bars are mostly alloy steel.

3.Strength

Forged steel rod strength is low, while other steel strength is high. That is, the diameter of the same size of the round steel and other steel bars, compared to other steel bars, forged steel rod can withstand the tensile force is smaller than other steel bars, but the plasticity of forged steel rod than other steel bars, that is, forged steel rod before being pulled off a large deformation, while other steel bars before being pulled off the deformation is much smaller.

MATERIALS OF CHINA STEEL BAR
Material of China steel bar: Q195、Q235、10#、20#、35#、45#、Q215、Q345、12Cr1Mov、15CrMo、304、316、20Cr、40Cr、20CrMo、35CrMo、42CrMo、40CrNiMo、GCr15、65Mn、50Mn、50Cr、3Cr2W8V、20CrMnTi、5CrMnMo and so on.

DETAILS OF FORGED STEEL PRODUCTS
Forged round is a round steel forged by process requirements. Specifications domestic general production can reach 1500mm diameter. Forged steel products are suitable for small parts or shaped steel processing.

Round steel is a solid long steel with a circular cross-section. Its specifications are expressed in millimeters of diameter, such as " 50 " that is, the diameter of 50 mm round steel.

Round steel is divided into three types: hot-rolled, forged and cold-drawn. Hot-rolled round steel specifications for 5.5-250 mm. Among them: 5.5-25 mm of small round steel mostly supplied in bundles of straight bars, commonly used as reinforcement, bolts and various mechanical parts; more than 25 mm of round steel, mainly used in the manufacture of mechanical parts or for seamless steel billets.

Re: Shopee experience

I’ve had some issues with returns on Shopee too, where they just send those template replies and don’t really help much. It’s so annoying when merchants refuse to refund after receiving the item back. I’d say you’re not alone, but it’s definitely a good idea to stick to platforms that feel more reliable.

Re: Scammers operating in Shopee

I’ve heard similar stories with Shopee, where sellers mark items as delivered when they aren't. It's always a good idea to check the seller's reviews and contact their support if something goes wrong.

Re: Tricky situation in which visa to activate in SG

You should be able to stay in Singapore with the IPA letter until April 2025 without any issues. The PEP does allow for a 6-month break, so you can use that time for maternity and recovery. However, when it comes to the review in 2026, the MOM may expect you to meet the income requirement, so starting work in October 2025 could still mean you need to hit that target by then.

Re: Tricky situation in which visa to activate in SG

❰❰ Quote:
I am in 7th month of pregnancy and got laid off from my job with redundancy paid.

So my EP will be cancelled by NOV end and a 90 day short term visa will be issued.
I have applied for PEP and it’s approved with IPA valid till April2025.

I am due to deliver the baby by jan/feb 2025.. so intend to have a maternity leave / not be employed at least for 5-6 mths due to recovery and baby care.

My questions are
What are my options to maximise my without job period to focus on baby in this situation ?
1. Can I be in Singapore with approved IPA letter till April 2025 and then activate PEP only in April and be jobless for 6months ? ( as PEP allows job gap of 6mths)
When they review my case in 2026 Jan. Would they expect me to have a earning of /salary of 200k in 3 mths ( assuming I start the work in October 2025 and income prorated from April25)
2. Is there a way I can request MOM to review my case as gap from April-oct is .....

Re: Scammers operating in Shopee

I rarely order from third party sellers on Shopee, Lazada, or Amazon.

I'm sure there are some good deals / reputable products, but I don't have the time or patience to deal with products not arriving or being sent a pile of crap. All things considered (mainly the potential hassle), it's just not worth trying to save nickels and dimes.
