Both life and our plans are erratic. But you shouldn't constantly lose money as a result of such uncertainty. You should become familiar with Turkish Airlines' change policy if you will be travelling with them soon. In this manner, you can quickly rebook your flight (in the event of a last-minute change) and save a few euros in the process.

The passenger must pay the full amount to change the currency and return the ticket to the above-mentioned locations if the ticket was not purchased from the official Turkish Airlines ticket window, Turkish website, official mobile application, or through another official Turkish channel.

According to Turkish Airlines Change Flight , there is no change cost for travellers who make adjustments during low-risk times. For individuals who have a refund ticket, the free exchange rate is applicable.

The Turkish Airlines flight change policy states that travellers may modify their tickets up to 24 hours before to departure. The airline will charge the full amount of the ticket as a flight change fee if a change is made on the day of departure.

In cases of sham marriages (does not apply to OP), they can scrutinise the spouse’s nationality even if the sponsor is earning enough. Some sham marriages .

from 2020 has a SC wife with a South African husband whose LTVP application keeps getting denied despite the SC being employed…

I believe the decision on LTVP will be more about income (ability for you to support both of you now, on your income alone, without the husband working). I don’t believe evaluation of LTVP uses the same criteria as PR. I’m sure someone will correct me if I am wrong about this.

thanks for sharing your view. I hope my basic salary 4k per month seems enough for ICA to decide.Additionally I am staying in Parents owned HDB. Meanwhile, I know my nationality is not in favour.

Re: 15 years in Singapore!

All the best WD. I can totally relate to how you feel… having gone through the same back in Jan. For me, I had been working at the same employer and even the same office for over 28 years. It was like my home away from home, and the nostalgia I felt just walking through the halls among the cubical farms could be overwhelming. It was the first time in my entire career that I almost shed a tear :(

To help my wife adjust, I tried to recreate a similar lifestyle after our move. I wouldn’t say it was a failure, but I feel like it didn’t help… it’s never enough, and the psychological is far more than any lifestyle adjustment. It just takes a whole lot of time and patience… expect some trials and tribulation, but know it will pass. Good luck and don’t be a stranger on this forum. Most of my Indian friends come back after a few years with their family for a visit. I’m sure you and yours will too.

Nationality might be a disadvantage. You can certainly try and hope for the best but be prepared for rejection.
