Re: A recent case confirms that losing SC does not void NS obligation

1. The Singapore govt may actually cancel your SC - I would actually like that confirmed. The article (snip below) states so but I don't believe it. I think Gan "assumed" his SC was cancelled? The reason I state this is we have seen numerous cases of men trying to cancel their SC at the various high comms, only to be told "There are outstanding CMPB matters that need addressing". (A)
On Sep 29, 2006, as Gan did not renounce his US citizenship and take the oath of renunciation, allegiance and loyalty within 12 months of turning 21, he automatically lost his Singapore citizenship, said his lawyer.

I'd guess under Part 10, sections 134/135 of the Constitution.

Re: Game consoles and retro games

Hi! I'm looking for a reasonably cheap electronics shop/mall where I could find gaming consoles (also possibly retro stuff like Gameboy/Nintendo 64 stuff)
I'm particularly on the hunt for the new "Legend Of Zelda: Game and Watch" and trying to find it somewhere a bit cheaper than sold in the internet.. any suggestions?
❱❱
There are a good number at Sim Lim Square.
❱❱
This place really impressed me. I found a shop filled with lots of new retro items, most of which are Japanese. Many products are still sealed, which explains the higher prices. I finally came across a sealed Radiant Silvergun for the Sega Saturn, a rare gem for collectors like me.

China notwithstanding, getting rid of tiktok might stop a lot of stupidity in the youth of the US today.
❱❱
On one hand, that's true. On the other hand, who can stop them from watching Reels or Shorts?
❱❱
That was the positive side of not banning it that I also mentioned. It does help to clean up the gene pool as the idiots do the stupid challenges and managed to off themselves in the process. Just feel sad for the parents though, having birthed genetic idiots.

Re: Allow Photo / video Permission on apps
I’d be cautious. Experience shows you can’t always be sure your data is securely stored. Your information might even be saved on servers in countries where you wouldn’t trust the government. With rising global tensions, hacker groups are becoming more active, as shown in this recent news - . I checked my email on HIBP and found it was part of a breach involving Deezer, a company I thought was trustworthy. The risks are real, so it’s important to stay vigilant.
