Making a precast concrete magnet includes a lot of fastening work: fastening formwork on mold table, fixing wire boxes at designated spots etc. The traditional practice would be drilling holes and then inserting pins for fastening. To be more exact: drilling holes both on formworks and mold table, fastening by hammering pins into holes. Glad I asked here..after your advice I've been reading up and watching youtube videos which also helped a lot understanding the index funds. And yes i think my investment method is kinda of outdated cos I realised my stock price come down immediately after div dates. So that's not a good method.
I'll be exploring Index Funds from now on, please share any more tips if you do have...

In general, SPY and QQQ are only appropriate for US persons because they are taxed punitively to foreigners.
The equivalent ETF to SPY that is appropriate for non-US persons is CSPX traded in London.
However, the ETF that is most recommended is ISAC which covers what is included in CSPX and the rest of the world, all in one, simple, tax and fee efficient .....

Understanding PR implications on family future
Hi all,
I'm a non-married expat currently living in Singapore, and I'm considering applying for PR. Before I move forward, I’d like to better understand the potential long-term implications—especially regarding my future family.
I’m aware that second-generation male PRs are subject to NS, but I’m unclear on how exactly that applies. My main concern is ensuring that my future children have agency over their own choices and are not bound by decisions I make today. Should my child want to do NS, I would like it to be their decision once they are old enough to decide.
I would appreciate help with the following questions:

You’re welcome. Not sure if it mattered but our mothers are both part of the Chinese diaspora, but we don’t speak the language and don’t have any documentation to prove Chinese ancestry.

Warning for Prospective Tenants/Buyers in Condo near Mental Hospital
If you're considering renting or buying a unit in the condo across from the mental health hospital, please take time to research potential noise issues before signing a lease—especially if you're looking at higher floors.
Since last year, a large local Chinese family moved into a neighboring unit. Their lifestyle includes leaving their door open throughout the day, frequent loud gatherings, religious singing, and children playing noisily in the hallway. Despite multiple reminders from condo management, the noise levels have not improved. They've made it clear they have no intention of changing, even telling others that anyone who can't tolerate their lifestyle should "go back to their home country."
Unfortunately, daytime noise (or any noise before 10:30 p.m.) is not regulated under current condo rules or other regulations, so residents living nearby or directly below may face ongoing disturbance.
