"The ACCA SBR Exam requires you to establish your ability to make strategic business reporting decisions. Building on your existing knowledge and skills, in this subject you will need to link accounting issues to relevant concepts arising in practical situations. You will need to exhibit judgement and often consider the perspective of various stakeholders such as investors.
Students will also need to exercise professional and ethical judgement, as this is also an important aspect of the syllabus.
SBR has a wide-ranging syllabus, which includes many accounting standards, some introduced in FR and others examined only in SBR. Current issues, exposure drafts and narrative reporting frameworks also feature. Questions are set in the context of single entities, groups, private or public sector, for-profit, or not-for-profit organisations.
The aim of the syllabus is to evaluate, discuss and apply the concepts, principles and practices that support the preparation and interpretation of corporate reports in various contexts including the ethical assessment of management’s stewardship and the information needs of a diverse group of stakeholders.
The syllabus requires students to examine corporate reporting from a number of standpoints, not only from the point of view of the preparer of corporate reports but also from the perspective of a variety of different stakeholders such as investors and finance providers. The syllabus further requires the evaluation and assessment of the reporting decisions made by management and their implications for a range of stakeholders and any entities.

Re: Pr Application chances for who living in jb

Your PR application will have a section for address. Which, if you don't fill in, you cannot submit.

Re: PR Application Criteria

Your mind is set, just go ahead and apply. You won't hit the lottery if you don't buy the ticket.

Seems like it took 7 months of being outside SGP to realise how valuable SGP was to you.

If you're looking for reassurance, you probably will not get it here.

If I go one step further, I infer that you're Indian, female, probably single (or married with no kids), about 35-40years old. Of course i could be wrong - but based on the inference, I'd say it's not so likely an ICA officer will look at your application and click approve.

Re: Europe retirement visas

You’ve got some time, but you’ll be surprised how quickly college age comes.

My kids might both be starting college this fall. My wife is thinking of having my son take a high school exemption exam and skip the last two years - go straight into junior college (community college) in the U.S. He will probably have better options as a transfer student in California than trying to get in as a high school graduate (acceptance rates are more than double). After what our daughter went through, it should also be less stressful.

Actually I’m surprised you could submit the application in the first place, since ICA stated that it is mandatory to have a local address to apply for PR.

Husband not in sg is not a problem. My colleague had been renting a room in sg (local address solved) and going back to husband in Malaysia every weekend. Eventually they both got their PR, without the husband ever stay in sg

Understand that you may want to save on rent and/or stay with husband everyday. But to get PR, some sacrifices need to be made.

May I know where can I find the local address is mandatory because I have checked all faq on ica website but I couldn’t find it

Secondly we can sacrifice but real reason is not want to save on rent. My husband is Greek and he stay with me in Malaysia with spouse pass. If Malaysia immigration do surprise check and find out we are not living together he can lose his spouse pass #-o

First things first, report the loss to the relevant authorities and your bank. Then, consider applying for a replacement license as soon as possible. As for advice, reach out to the licensing agency for guidance on the conversion process given your situation. And, uh, if you need any help with navigating the bureaucracy, I'm here.

If you're "here" why does your IP address resolve to the Netherlands?
