Long shot. Photos of old SIngapore bar required.

When I used to come over to Singapore in the early Noughties, I used to inhabit a bar that was attached to the Hotel Rendezvous on Bras Basah Road/Prinsep Street. It was set up like a US diner, and had a pool table. It took up the section that the 7-Eleven has in the attached photo.

This is a trip down memory lane, and I'm wondering if anyone remembers it, and has any photos of the interior. The bar disappeared around 2014.

Difficult to say. getting PR is like a ballot. I was in Singapore for only 2+ years, engineering industry, with salary much lower than yours but was granted within months. Others have their PR application pending for over a year with similar background

I replied to this after long time, as just need to tell him the fact that he got in 2+years as he was sponsored by his wife who is 1) PR and 2) Chinese race which is preferred.

I found it difficult to say how they assess the application and the chances.

I got my marriage certificate in end 2018, 1.5 months later I applied under my wife's sponsorship for my PR (she was PR for only 1 year as well) and got approved within months. She is of Chinese race and me too (European citizen). She is a healthcare worker, so that might be the trick. And I earn more than here so considered sustainable income .....

19 months wait for a Malaysian Chinese SC application

Why? is it good? is it bad?

from what I've read from other social media, many applicants who are mothers with children got approved within a year.
