Moldavite is an olive green-colored natural glass with a unique formation behind it. Scientists say that the crystal is the result of the heat of the meteoroid impact that took place 15 million years ago in the Czech Republic. It is an isotropic structured stone that falls between 5.5 to 7 on a hardness scale. Moldavite is a transparent or translucent stone with a mossy green color that embeds swirls and bubbles on its surface. The stunning crystal is used to create astonishing ornamental jewelry pieces like rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. In addition, some people also keep the crystal in their pocket to keep themselves away from negative energies.

Long shot. Photos of old SIngapore bar required.

When I used to come over to Singapore in the early Noughties, I used to inhabit a bar that was attached to the Hotel Rendezvous on Bras Basah Road/Prinsep Street. It was set up like a US diner, and had a pool table. It took up the section that the 7-Eleven has in the attached photo.

This is a trip down memory lane, and I'm wondering if anyone remembers it, and has any photos of the interior. The bar disappeared around 2014.

Difficult to say. getting PR is like a ballot. I was in Singapore for only 2+ years, engineering industry, with salary much lower than yours but was granted within months. Others have their PR application pending for over a year with similar background

I replied to this after long time, as just need to tell him the fact that he got in 2+years as he was sponsored by his wife who is 1) PR and 2) Chinese race which is preferred.

I found it difficult to say how they assess the application and the chances.

I got my marriage certificate in end 2018, 1.5 months later I applied under my wife's sponsorship for my PR (she was PR for only 1 year as well) and got approved within months. She is of Chinese race and me too (European citizen). She is a healthcare worker, so that might be the trick. And I earn more than here so considered sustainable income .....

19 months wait for a Malaysian Chinese SC application

Why? is it good? is it bad?

from what I've read from other social media, many applicants who are mothers with children got approved within a year.
