Crude scale wax refers to the paraffin wax that has undergone perspiration or solvent deoiling but has not undergone the final refining process. This slack wax still has a low melting point paraffin wax. In order to obtain a high melt paraffin wax, the crude scale wax needs to be refined again. Crude paraffin has higher oil content and darker product color. Due to the above and other reasons, the quality of slack wax is poorer than that of fully refined paraffin with the same melting point. Crude paraffin with higher oil content has lower tensile strength, and its structure is softer and fragile. Micro slack wax has good thermal stability, certain toughness and shrinkage.

Features of Crude Scale Wax
01
High oil content of the slack wax.

02
Darker color than semi refined paraffin wax.

03
Low tensile strength, soft and fragile structure of this low melting point paraffin wax.

04
Good thermal stability, certain toughness and shrinkage of this heavy slack wax.

Slack Wax Uses
The product of slack wax uses is suitable for rubber products, canvas, matches, and other industrial raw materials including:

Degraded use of various semi-refined wax applications;

Lubrication and rust prevention of various wire ropes;

Industrial Vaseline;

Emulsion explosive phase materials, industrial wrapping paper;

Anti-corrosion and demoulding of building forming panels;

Low-end candles, various combustion aids, anti-frost insulation for crops;

Particleboard, fiberboard moisture-proof;

Low-end hydrocarbon-based grease;

Low-end PVC product lubricant.

Packaging and Storage of Crude Scale Wax
We offer a 50kgs woven bag and a 25kgs carton with plastic waterproof outer lining, store indoors to isolate the influence of sunlight and temperature on paraffin wax. As an experienced slack wax manufacturers, we provide crude scale wax at the best slack wax price in the slack wax market.

Slack Wax Vs Paraffin Wax
Slack wax is a petroleum paraffin wax with an oil content of between 3 and 50%. While fully refined paraffin wax has had nearly all of the oil refined out of it. The oil content of fully refined paraffin is generally less than 0.5%.

Crude paraffin with higher oil content than paraffin wax has lower tensile strength, and its structure is softer and fragile. Thus the quality of slack wax is poorer than that of fully refined paraffin with the same melting point.

For making paraffin wax, we usually remove the oil (de-oiling or de-waxing) from the crude scale wax. The oil is separated by crystallization. Most commonly, the slack wax is heated, mixed with one or more solvents such as a ketone and then cooled. As it cools, wax crystallizes out of the solution, leaving only oil.

As a professional wax supplier, we provide fully refined paraffin wax, candle wick, paraffin wax, candle wax wholesale, etc. For more information, please feel free to contact us!

Re: My citizenship journey

Yes, I agree, no hint of rose syrup. It's something more acidic, probably pineapple.

Re: Thoughts on 377a repeal

Mal, not everyone calls it "holy matrimony". Only Christians do as far as I know (I'm catholic by the way).

Also, the whole concept of marriage is really worth nothing if it's purely left to the church. On the other hand it has everything to do with the state - legally speaking that is.
❱❱

To me the legal aspects have had no value. What rights or privileges have I enjoyed here in Singapore as the result of being legally married? I can’t think of anything. It was just paperwork. I also didn’t have Church wedding, such a thing is meaningless. Holy Matrimony transcends all of that, for me.
❱❱

The definition of marriage :

"the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship (historically and in some jurisdictions specifically a union between a man and a woman)."

Sounds like you hold an "opinion" .....

Re: My citizenship journey

If it’s rose syrup, it will taste more like bandung without milk. The fruit punch caterers serve usually tastes unpleasant to me, seems there is some pineapple inside maybe.

Re: EP is the new PR. S Pass is the new EP

I just found out my next EP renewal I am likely to get an S Pass because I am >40 years old and my salary <11k. The new rules comes into effect Sep 2023.

I have seen ever since I came to Singapore in 2009, our standard just kept getting downgraded. In 2009, we had heard about people who just came 1 yr before me got their PR in 6 months of their application. I found out forget getting PR, keeping your EP is like having a PR.

Also those day you could get a PEP, if you just had a salary of 3.5K provided you stayed in Singapore for 3 yeas or something and then they quickly changed the rule to min 8k salary and then kept increasing it faster than my salary could ever catch up.

Today I found out, forget about EP, S Pass is like the new E Pass now, for people like me who have crossed 40 but have hit the 15k kind of salary band and are in the financial services industry.

We can extend this to other things also. Given the way rents .....

Re: New EP Point Based System 2023 onwards. Thoughts?

This is actually a really good point. When I first moved here I was unmarried, and my first job only paid S$2.3k and I rented a room in an HDB for $450/mo, and I could still save a good % of my salary.
❱❱

I am married, single income wife is home maker and my daughter goes to international school. Yet, I have managed to save like 50% of my salary throughout my 13 years stay here.

I just reorganized my networth tracker this weekend and here are some interesting stats:

I saved 852k SGD over these years since Jan 2010, cumulative from my salary, prior to that my networth was 87K and I came to SG in Jun 2009. Then the return on investment from my most adhoc poorly managed investments over these years is cumulative 342k.

So 87K+852k+342k = 1281K. This is what I have achieved by staying in Singapore on an EP for 13 years :) Worth it or not? .....
