The Pap smear is a screening test for cervical cancer in women. The test consists of applying a small amount of a liquid called Pap smear to the cervix. The liquid is then left on the cervix for ten minutes or more and then examined under a microscope. If abnormal cells or changes are found, further testing can be done to determine if cancer is present.

You should have a yearly Pap test if you are physically active to check for cervical cancer.

Cross Street Medical Clinic in Singapore provides all necessary screening tests and treatments to women's health. You can schedule your appointment and get screened today!
