Re: Singapore PR Application - CPF access

Just sharing. I applied for PR for my husband using the new system.
Application submitted just before Christmas 2024. One month after applying, I logged in and it states processing application. Then on 10th March when I logged in, it shows pending. 18th March I received the IPA. So in total it took us approximately 3 months to get the approval.

Re: PR IPA Letter Received - Planning in-person Appointment at ICA

Thanks Rappress,

This is encouraging. Do you know whether the outcome of the medical tests is required before I complete the health declaration or are the two completely separate?

Hi Folks,

My PR application has been approved and I received the IPA letter last week. =D>

I am currently living outside of Singapore and will need to return to attend an in-person appointment at the ICA.

Can anyone advise how long I will need to plan to be in the country to attend the medical appointment, receive the results of the HIV and TB tests, apply for the insurance then attend the meeting at the ICA?

Am I right in thinking I need to wait 7 days for the insurance to be approved before the in-person meeting? Do I also need to allow to wait a few days after the ICA appointment to pick up the IC card once it has been produced?

I applied in May 2024, which I believe was under the old system.

Any advice or experience welcomed. Thank you!

I’m actually working on developing an app that addresses similar questions and processes, so I totally get where you're coming from! It can be tricky to navigate all .....
