OVERVIEW OF ERW/HFW PIPES
ERW pipe is the acronym for electrical resistance welded steel pipe, and HFW pipe represents high-frequency welding (HFW) steel pipe & tube. The pipes are made from steel coil and the weld seam runs parallel to the pipe. And it is one of the most versatile tools in agriculture, industry, and construction activities. The manufacturing process of ERW steel pipe includes HFW. ERW involves low, medium, and high-frequency welding, while HFW is especially for high frequency electric resistance welding pipe.

FEATURES OF ERW/HFW PIPES
1 Compared with other forms of welded pipes, ERW pipes are greater in strength
2 Better performance than common welded pipes and lower cost than seamless pipes
3 The production process of ERW pipes is far safer than that of other welded pipes.

Re: 'Re-instate' PR probability

However, my oversight on the NS issue could very well be a stumbling block, but he may well have performed his NS before going for his degree. We haven't heard back from him yet.

Re: 'Re-instate' PR probability

It has, but the codicil from the government is that if you want to have your PR re-instated, (if they're willing consider it) Then any and all CPF monies that may have been withdrawn (along with all the interest AND any interest that would have accrued during said period on Non-PR is returned to the CPF board to your CPF account, it will be the only way they will consider re-granting it. I didn't mention it because it appears that OP has been schooling most of the time so it was rather doubtful that it would have been withdrawn. This especially so, considering it wasn't a conscious decision to give up PR but a conscious decision to gain the educational charter. Therefore, his reason for giving it up was, in theory, for the betterment of his academia and qualification on his return to Singapore. I think he's got a decent chance. And yes, it is a thing.

When to apply for citizenship

Me and my partner are planning to get married Oct 2022. Both of us have been SPR for more than 2 years. Should we:

1. Apply for citizenship after we got married, and then apply as a couple, or
2. Apply individually now and update ICA after we get married
?

Just got rejected after 4 months of waiting.
Under Others categoty, graduated about a year back from a local university, lived in Singapore for 14 years (went to local institutions since young), salary is borderline 6 figures, speaks fluent mandarin (if that's any prereq for integration lol)
Never expected this to be a walk in the park, but that was a quick rejection

Work for 2 more years and apply again and you should have a fair chance

Just an honest question - what would the big difference be between 2 years and now? The number of tax cycles? I have already applied for the PR a few years back as a student as well.

In all honesty, I already very much consider Singapore my home, and all my friends are here in Singapore as well given that I literally spent all my formative years here. To be very frank, a Singapore citizenship does not .....
