signage braille

Signage braille is a way of representing text with a series of raised dots allowing blind people to read with their fingers. The six dots that make up Braille translate into letters of the alphabet, numbers, symbols and common words. Braille is a coding system that is used by blind and visually impaired people in all languages.

As one of the most professional braille signage manufacturer in China, Xiongchang manufactures and supplies a series of handrail braille sign, braille strips, and so on. If you need install braille in public places, please contact us.

Custom Braille Signs

It's a tactile way of reading and writing and is particularly important for public places and buildings. The sharp contrasting and prominent tactile letters allow partially sighted people to visualize signs much easier.

Grade 1 Braille which represents letter for letter and is used for single and shorter wording signs and also grade 2 which is an abbreviated form, this is used for longer sentenced signs and notices.

Features of ADA Signage Braille
1. Superior Continuous Surface, Fully Encapsulated Braille and Tactile Technology
2. Heavy Duty, Weather Resistant design, suitable for indoor & outdoor applications
3. Vandal & bacteria resistant
4. Cost effective, lightweight and easy to install

People who are blind or visually impaired benefit from custom stainless steel braille signs that are placed in convenient and predictable locations. In addition, the braille should be presented horizontally and clear of the sign's edge, unobscured by the frame.

An additional benefit is that, when incorporated in signage, Braille helps protect the rights of blind and visually impaired individuals in public places.Along with ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), adding Braille elements to signage allows blind and visually impaired individuals to easily navigate buildings.

In the absence of the ability to see and read written information, braille allows you read through touch. Braille opens the door to equal opportunity and independence by allowing those who are blind or visually impaired to take in often important information from plaques and signs.

Next application we have few updates. From August my wife will start her Phd in NUS (Not saying that this will turn the table but just an update from our side).

It is good to have something to plan on improving. However, dont be mislead that doing a PhD in a local university will always lead a pr approval. It really depends on the area on which the PhD is done if it aligns with SGs future development requirements. Not all local bachelors/PhDs get approved for pr. Since, your spouse's field of study seems related to life science/ psychology, i am not sure how ICA views doing a PhD in a such related fields. Moreover, PhD is more of a mental battle and can take around 4yrs or more (if full time) and also the cost (if not in scholarship).

My point is that she can do PhD if she is really interested in it and is willing to go through it. If it is .....

Your mind is set, just go ahead and apply. You won't hit the lottery if you don't buy the ticket.

Seems like it took 7 months of being outside Singapore to realise how valuable Singapore was to you.

If you're looking for reassurance, you probably will not get it here.

If I go one step further, I infer that you're Indian, female, probably single (or married with no kids), about 35-40years old. Of course i could be wrong - but based on the inference, I'd say it's not so likely an ICA officer will look at your application and click approve.

You can take a look at his second post and then you will realize that you are guess is half-way correct :D

Ha. Except the nationality, i got everything wrong. 😜

May I know where can I find the local address is mandatory because I have checked all faq on ica website but I couldn’t find it

Secondly we can sacrifice but real reason is not want to save on rent. My husband is Greek and he stay with me in Malaysia with spouse pass. If Malaysia immigration do surprise check and find out we are not living together he can lose his spouse pass #-o

Hence I was surprised when you mentioned you could submit the PR application without a local address, and the application is even "pending"
