Hi,
Would be really helpful if someone can review our PR probability based on my profile.
Myself (main applicant on EP)
Race/Ethnicity: Indian
Education: Bachelor's degree from India
Also have additional professional certifications
Job: Cloud Engineer/Architect
Salary: 110k + bonus
Duration of stay in Singapore: 5 years
Marital Status: Married (since 2020)
Spouse (on DP)
Race/Ethnicity: Indian
Education: Bachelor's degree from India
Not employed currently/looking for work
Duration of stay in Singapore: 1.5 years
Also,.would the probability of acceptance be higher/lower if I applied as solo applicant vs applying as family with spouse ?

Low chance. But since you are in the Cloud space, go ahead and apply. Keep hopes low.
Applying as a family is always better than applying .....

Hi everyone, some of you may have noticed that I’ve been on a hiatus for much of this month. I’ve been really busy helping my daughter plan out her next year in Singapore. That’s right, she decided to go with a gap year. She seems pretty pleased with her decision, and I’m happy to let her do whatever as long as she has a plan. She was hesitant until the very end but it was pretty clear to me that she had her heart set on taking a gap year, even if it wasn’t really clear to her. Appreciate any advice on what she can do to make this year extra fulfilling.

Congrats and glad to hear she is happy with her decision.
I think a gap year can mean so many different things depending on the person, so without knowing more it is hard to say. Generally, I would look at the short-term and long-term though. Short-term is the few months until the application process starts again (perhaps try the early admissions .....

Re: 34M looking for new friends [emoji3]
Hi Mark and others,
British guy here (BBC to be precise - careful how you Google that)
Been here a while, I also enjoy cycling. Not too easy to hang out with family and regional travel but with C19 easing, more opportunities to come.

Since we are taking toilets, I have set my team a work challenge - to find the dirtiest, grimiest toilet across SEA hospitals…
Should be an eye opener for the new, younger members, to see how others live and to understand privilege
I think the best toilet view is still Mt Faber cable car station - open window view of the greenery down to Vivocity as you use the urinals…highly recommended.
Other toilets in the zoos are also nice being close to nature….

Re: [Help Needed] Preloved Children's Clothes. Yay or Nay?
We’ve been enjoying hand-me-downs from my niece to both my girls.
Saves a lot of effort, only throw out when the elastic is broken, holes or very messy food stains.
Mainly buy Children’s clothing new if there is a discount or a real need, so we feel kind of bad the older one tends to get most of the new clothing. Young one not complaining much yet….
