Child PR to Adult PR (it is not automatic correct?)
Friends of mine became PR (spouse followed husband and their minor child was included and is also now a SPR).
Does this child lose her PR when she turns 21? She would have to apply for PR on her own merit or stay on a students pass if in studies?
She is a caucasian from the EU.
I cannot easily find information on this but I believe it to be the case.

It's possible. Some of us have done this in various ways. Migration is a long long pathway - just getting to permanent residency is a reasonable enough goal.

Re: I'm starting to see friends made jobless - I think a recession is creeping in
I am oddly enough not jobless but I do see more and more SC being squeezed. Apparently the gahmen policies which are pushing manufacturers and service companies out are too blame.

Hi All,
I'm looking for some advice - I'm interested in emigrating from the UK to Singapore but have never visited before, so am planning to ask my employer to allow me to work from the office in Singapore for a 6 month period.
Because I'm asking to go I'll be covering all expenses, and unfortunately as I'm not leaving the UK permanently (yet) I'll remain a UK tax resident.
Employer is finance and my UK monthly take home converted to SGD is around 8k. I want a nice 1 bed in a good location and have enough money to to fully immerse myself and experience everything Singapore has to offer.
Has anyone done this before? Anything else I need to consider?
