Because it’s an open secret that M’sian Chinese have an easier time with PR/SC applications in general. They even have an even more lax salary requirement for EP too.

Hard to avoid these days - payments are done by app, work via email app and chat, bill payments, food delivery, all the stuff I use daily. I rarely carry a wallet anymore. I don't use FB on my phone, or any other purely social portal (apart from Signal which I use for random chatter), but because I work remotely my phone is never far from me in case clients send messages.
That said I don't stare at my phone when I am out for a stroll or having dinner out, and I will glare at my relatives when they do. We're all old fogies so this isn't just a young people thing.

I mostly use my mobile for communication. All the payments and such I prefer to do it with a pc. Regardless, I still think it is strange to go out with someone and chat with someone else at the same time or browse some .....

I get a full blood workup every 6 months without fail. (At 75 it is a good habit to keep) Cholesterol has been great all those years since 2008. For me, while I occasionally, as noted, east some starchy foods, its not the norm for me. I don't miss it, and by not going back to it, my health is good and I reckon if it works for me, and I don't have to 'watch' it, it is basically just easier. Fortunately I'm not a "foodie" as it were so almost never go to restaurants or order food, but just cooks at home. At 75 I'm not trying to impress any strumpets so no need to eat the foods bad for me just to look good and make the strumpet have to use her phone for photo of food. LOL
