We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Expat Financial Planner in Singapore. Experience in Australia will be preferable.

Duties will include:

Help grow and develop the financial planning client base.

Provision of comprehensive Financial Planning advice to clients encompassing strategies such as Investments, Superannuation, Insurance and other Wealth Protection.

Conduct regular client reviews and monitor investment portfolios.

Work with other Advisers to build up referral network.

There will not be a strict requirement to aggressively grow the client base.

The right candidate will be:

Client focused and have a willingness to help and support our existing clients in achieving their goals and objectives.

Committed to ethical and compliant dealings with clients.

Have a good understanding of the current Australian legislative and technical framework in relation to investments, taxation, superannuation, and risk insurance.

Enjoy working autonomously as well as within our team.

To be successful in the role you will need:

A minimum of 2 years experience as a Financial Planner with a minimum qualification of Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and a Masters qualification will be considered favourably.

CFP completion will also be considered favourably.

Prepared to complete any additional education requirements if necessary determined by FASEA - however applicants who have completed these requirements will be viewed favourably.

Registered as a Financial Planner prior to 1st of January 2019

Excellent written and verbal organisational and communication skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to drive and develop internal and external relationships.

Hi I encountered the same technical error (Form 4A, version 4.5). Can anyone please share how to solve this issue please? I called ICA and they asked me to emailed the PR department which may take 3-5 working days to respond. Thanks for any tips in advance!

It does look like the annual PR number is at/around 35,000 now. Likely trying to keep up with the increasing SC base and declining TFR (only so much can be done with the latter). Not a huge change, but on the margin it helps those who are looking for spots or thinking about numbers for various buckets.
