Re: Singapore property rental market

Right now in Jurong west area hardly any HDBs available for rent. Its amazing, never saw such a dynamic play out before. This article explains how Malaysians working here are causing havoc in the HDB rental market.

LTVP renewal

We have already granted LTVP in 2019 with marriage registered date instead of marriage solemnization date (done by oversight). Now we need to renew the LTVP, so this time should i use the old date as we mentioned in 2019 or the actual marriage solemnization date ? I am confused if ICA would compare my current renewal application with past application and reject if mismatched. Kindly send your suggestion and if anyone has faced the same issue.

We need SHN 7 day at home here for it to be useful but it is a start.

Even SHN 14 day in your own home (not hotel) would be fine.

It's the hotel incarceration part that makes inbound quarantine such a sharp deterrent.

I was hoping they'd expand the list of allowable SHN (home) countries after ICA introduced the wearable bluetooth monitoring device, but unfortunately I don't see it happening.

The message is very clear. ICA may not reveal the reason on why other options to collect is not available for your spouse. Any problem collecting it from ICA?
❱❱

The ICA appointment slots are only open more than a month in the future, whereas Singpost is within the week.

I've emailed ICA to try to confirm if having only ICA collection for my spouse is intended (i.e. not a mistake).

I completed formalities last week, and I have the option to collect my IC from Singpost. However, my spouse has the message "Not Eligible for Alternate Site Collection"

Any idea why this could be?
