Do you come back after a hard day’s work just to face a crowded apartment that is full of noisy flatmates and visitors and you can’t rest peacefully?
Do you regret room-sharing because you have sleepless nights when your roommate(s) snored vigorously and on top of that you have no privacy?…and its messy and dirty?
Do you regret renting a small tiny and dingy room that is cramped which may affect your health in the long run?
Do you detest the ungodly hours of noise and smell from your flatmates’ cooking and the endless stream of visitors and partying that encroaches on your private space?
Sure, they may say that there’s no restriction and no owner, but with that it comes with a price to pay for all of the above inconvenience, stress and heartaches.
Privacy is important and having a whole room for yourself is sometimes a need rather than a want.
If you are a MALE tenant seeking a SERENE, PEACEFUL, QUIET & PRIVATE NON-SMOKING SPACIOUS room and a nature-inspired living environment with sounds of water trickling from a nearby water pond and song birds singing within a beautiful balcony garden to soothe your BODY, MIND & SOUL after a hard day’s work....THEN THIS IS THE PLACE for you!

Im surprised so many parents who might be against this are remaining quiet.
Especially when Singapore's laws, which lean ultra conservative, are on their side.
This is utter madness and I'm totally speechless

SAS can terminate your child's education there with no refund. That's why they keep quiet.

Just one question - did the school explicitly threaten parents to terminate their child's education if they spoke up against this madness?

They are very professional at what they do, they don’t resort to threats, they believe in what they are teaching whole heartedly, have all the reasons they believe in it and won’t be swayed by anything you try to tell them to the contrary. For example, they said these are the same materials used in schools in the US. When I brought up .....

I went to a high school that had 140 kids. The amazing places that some of those kids have gone blows my mind. Everything from Ambassadors to senior officers in the military to corporate leaders to artists to literal rocket scientists to medical specialists. I routinely pick up names of my alumni in news articles or hear astounding stories. Of course as I approach retirement I see less as my cohort is also retiring.
It's not the size of the school that matters at all.

It's concerning to receive vastly different truck load estimates. Transparency is crucial. Request a detailed breakdown of costs and inquire about potential additional charges upfront. Consider seeking quotes from multiple movers and reading reviews to ensure reliability. Communication is key to avoiding surprises on moving day.

In this day and age where we can augment a school's base curriculum with academic and non-academic outside sources these days, do you personally think a small school would be detrimental to a child's education in this new day and age?
Perhaps I'm still old fashioned and think school size is important. I suspect I'm wrong because times are changing.

I have no idea how large (or small) ICS is, and I haven't really thought about whether there is some minimum size that is needed.
I think my comment was more general in that wherever kids end up, one can always figure out how to make the most of it. If the school offers a lot, that's great. If not, figure out how to create your own opportunities and things to do (literally an infinite number).
I do believe school-based programmes have value; both for access for all and environment/school spirit (there needs .....
