Electronic Service Engineer (Security Systems)


Provide and coordinate technical support for deployment of Commercial integrated security systems, multiplexed Construction Site CCTV Surveillance systems, Door Access Control systems, Mobile Construction Site Camera, Turnstile gate solutions, Solar Powered CCTV solutions, and Electronic Parking systems (and others as required).


Job Responsibilities include:
● Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or VMS Singapore.
● Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.
● Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.
● Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.
● Follows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
● Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
● Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.
● Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
● May mange installation teams on larger projects.
● Coach and mentor less experienced installers.


Qualifications Required:
● 3-5 years electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
● Must be knowledgeable in Access Control and CCTV Surveillance systems
● Ability to read blue prints and schematic drawings.
● Ability to operate hand and power tools.
● Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.

First of all, as a DP holder, you cannot legally run a business without a proper work authorization: a Letter of Consent (LOC) for a business owner or a relevant work pass. If you incorporate a Pte. Ltd. company in Singapore, yes, you are required to:
1. Appoint at least one resident director (Singapore Citizen/PR/EP holder). If you cannot fulfil this, you'll need to appoint a nominee director, which comes at a fee.
2. Hire a corporate secretary (not full-time, but must be officially appointed).
3. Maintain a registered office address, file annual returns, and possibly audit if thresholds are exceeded. Typically, maintenance costs (excluding tax filing, accounting, and nominee director) range from SGD 1,000–2,000/year. With a nominee director, it could be SGD 3,000–4,000+/year, depending on the provider. Please check an example here.
