Re: Europe retirement visas

I just realized a number of European countries like Portugal, Spain etc offer retirement visas if you have passive income and enough savings.

So I was wondering people like me from 3rd world countries working in Singapore but will never get PR here and don't have a 1st world country passport, our situation is different from the 1st world country expats here who are looking for 3rd world country retirement visas like Thailand, Indonesia etc.

The problem with the retirement visas is that we are not allowed to work atleast until 5 years after which we can convert to permanent residence in Europe. So we need to time this well, we need to continue working in Singapore as long as it is possible but eventually our time runs out and it is perfect time to move to a retirement visa in Europe.

Any thoughts?

Which country are you from (sorry if I missed it .....

Re: Is it safe to open and consume bloated coke cans?

Additionally check the bottom of the can for the use by date as well just to make sure. Most of the new flimsy thin cans have a use by date stamped on the bottom of the can.

Re: Is it safe to open and consume bloated coke cans?

Aside from them being coke, blech, normally if one drops a crate of cokes on a flat surface from about waist height, a fair number of them will be bloated as the shock will cause the carbolic acid (bubbles) to come out of solution (similar to the shock when you drop ice cubes into a warm glass of fresh coke it will over flow. So dropshock will cause the same effect. the resulting pressure will cause them to bloat the can due to the increased pressure. I sure there is a proper explanation but my chemistry is non-existent so cannot help there. Somebody here will give you a correct scientific explanation I'm sure (I hope).

Can I know where did you go for the notarized translation of Msia birthcert? was it done in Msia or Singapore?

i've never done any translation for Malaysian docs, same for when i was applying for PR, as Malay is one of the 4 official languages
