With the rapid development of China, its influence in world affairs and business is undeniable. Recognising this, world leaders and businesspeople such as Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) are learning Mandarin so as to be part of this new and exciting era. Don’t stand by and watch, be part of this evolution!

I am a 34 years old male teacher providing one-to-one lessons in Singapore. As I offer my expertise freelance and without the overheads of classrooms, etc., my rates are much more competitive than market rates.

For more than 5 years, I’ve taught conversational Mandarin in specialised language centres to nationals from Singapore, France, Australia, Korea, Philippines, the USA, the UK, and more.

My basic course covers 11 lessons that focus on the different tones in Mandarin. Students will learn to speak Mandarin by reading Hanyu Pinyin (the equivalent of English "spelling"). This leads to phrase construction, learning numbers, ordering food, making a restaurant reservation, and many other commonly used sentences and phrases.

There are lots of opportunities for practice and refinement, as these lessons are delivered one-on-one, in your home or office (weekdays after you finish work or even weekends on Saturdays and Sundays). The best part is that the last lesson is free! As the course is delivered one-on-one, teaching is personalised and focused, meaning your progress is much faster and more efficient.
