LOOKING FOR “JAPANESE – CHINESE” TRANSLATION SPECIALIST


SALARY: Up to $6,000


OFFICE: Raffle Place


WORKING DAYS & HOURS: Monday – Friday (Office Hours)


JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Translating, Proof Reading and Post Editing Product Information from Japanese into Chinese
(Modern, Simplified),
- Ensuring that human and machine generated translations meet the organization’s specific style guidelines & internal standards for product detail pages (using computer assisted translation tools) and
- Contribute to launching & expanding localization projects (using a native language as a linguistic reference).



JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to translate Japanese Language into Modern Simplified Mandarin Chinese,
- Previous working experience in proof reading or post-editing of machine-translated content,
- Degree in translation (foreign language or communication),
- Fluent in English Language (Oral & Written),
- Has knowledge of CAT tools & Computer Literate,
- Additional working languages such as Arabic & German are highly appreciated,
- Proven ability to prioritize and work towards deadlines,
- Strong analytical, writing & editorial skills,
- Has a great deal of personal initiative, decisiveness & team spirit.
