Applications are invited for appointment of a DevOps engineer at a SoC based startup in the area of mobile app testing. The startup has recently secured the SMART Innovation Grant (http://smart.mit.edu/innovation-centre/innovation-grant.html) and seeks to setup office at the NUS incubator facility.
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic candidate who has strong coding and testing skills. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain key parts of an automated mobile app testing infrastructure. Responsibilities and requirement for the position can be found in the following:


Responsibilities
• Research and develop advance software testing tools
• Involve in various stages of software development lifecycle, including conceptualization, design, development, implementation and testing
• Provide demos; Develop training manuals and provide training to users/customers
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Must possess strong coding and scripting skills. Should have prior experience in
o Java programming
o Mobile app development (at minimum, knowledge of Android SDK is required)
o MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
o Software development on Linux based platforms
• Experience with Amazon Web Services would be an advantage
• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be a team player
