Project Manager - UAE



Job Description:
The Projects Manager will be responsible for the projects, contracts and will perform a technical, organizational and supervisory role. He will be responsible for marking out the site, applying designs and plans and liaising with sub contractors. He will work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources.



Responsibilities:
• Run the project on a day-to-day basis, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors
• Intimately understand the requirements of the project and ensure that work proceeds on-spec
• Coordinate designers, coders, service providers and clients
• Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant for use in the construction;
• Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
• Prepare cash flow of each individual project.
• Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to
• Evaluate deliverables prepared by the team to make sure the work meets requirements and maintains a high level of quality
• Responsible for implementation of project & contract management processes
• Provides on-site advice to business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters
• Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly


Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Architecture / interior design/ engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management, interior design, joinery factory, construction etc.
• Good Knowledge of Word, Excel, MS project/ Primavera, AutoCAD 2D/3D
• Driving License
• Proficiency in English or Arabic
