Re: Affordable International School

No foreigner should move to Singapore with 3 school aged children unless:

A. The employer is paying for their school
B. The family is wealthy (money ain’t a thang)

There is no such thing as an affordable international school here… even the less expensive ones have gone up substantially, and continue to do so, year after year.

Local schools, which are now roughly half the cost of international schools, also quickly become unaffordable for larger families, if they can even access them.

Re: I think my current company might be sabotaging me by applying new EP IPA without consent

Hi @lalala88, that is what I have done currently. Served my notice and company A withdrew the application. Company B applied for me but somehow is still pending till now almost close to 3 weeks. What if my application does not get IPA in time after my resignation and there is no timeframe confirmation from MoM. I might be jobless within these periods of don't know how long i.e. 1 month, 2 months?

Re: Affordable International School

That, my friends, is what we call an oxymoron.

I've got a small spittoon shaped copper bottomed Stainless steel pot sitting here full up to the brim with over 1K in 1$ and 50¢ coins I've been putting off depositing them into DBS due to the charges (unless depositing them in a child saving account-if that hasn't changed). I wonder what the criteria for 'valued customer' is..

One other option is to give them to the primary school-aged grandkid(s?) to use in the canteen.
