Hi @Mysticz Upon completing the Singapore Citizenship journey, how long did it take for you to receive the final approval letter from ICA? Some posts here say that the approval letter comes the following day or after a couple of days? Was that your experience as well? Thanks!

Eh.... The letter from the Indian High commission should reach you in approx a week from what I recall. Unless something has changed.

Re: Looking for advice on Renouncing citizenship and NS

You need to start with CMPB on Depot Road.

Ask them if you have an outstanding obligation

Your main risk is biometrics if you come back in.

Change your name if you can.

Hi! Thank you so much for your response. What do you think I should do if I want to do 2? I really don’t know anything about Singapore. Should I start by contacting the Singaporean embassy or something alike?

AussieSG Thanks for letting me know. It has been 5 business days for me since I completed the SC journey, so I am a little worried.
