Hey, my name is David.
I am 22 years old and I study law in Germany.
In March I will do an internship at a law firm in Singapore.
I am looking for a furnished condo or a single-room, which is located close to Raffles Hall
and the City Center (Battery Road).
Also good would be Orchard, Newton,
Rochor, Outram or Marina South
with a MRT nearby in walking distance.
I need the room for one month. The whole March.
I am tidy, reliable and accommodative.
I will pay up to 1000 SGD per month.
I am looking forward to hear from you.

Recommendation of Fresh Milk Packet
Hi all,
Anyone can recommend what good brand of packet Fresh Milk I can get for my babies? They are pre-schoolers anyway!
Prefer FRESH one, NO Reconstituted one.

Re: Returning Singaporean applying to sponsor PR and LTVP
A few Singaporeans might cheer what they perceive as anti-foreigner policies… until it affects their ability to bring a foreign spouse into the country. What’s good for the goose, right?
But, I do agree, despite hurdles being thrown up on many occasions, reasonableness has always prevailed in all cases I’ve had direct experience with (myself and around a dozen extended family members).

Hi, anyone applied for PR for spouse under new scheme (after June 2024) and heard back from ICA? Wondering if processing time is truly within 6 months under the new process
Or can anyone share the IPA for PR under spouse scheme. My husband just lost his job, and his PR application was submitted 3 months ago. I am SC and we have a 6mo SC son.
Is proof of employment for applicant required to formalise PR under spouse scheme?

Re: What to look for in International School
I should add; for American curriculum schools check where they are on AP test results and admissions into colleges. A little school like ICS is absolutely beating the for profit schools on AP marks.

Re: PR Re entry permit renewal - 3 years only? Why?

I've been a PR for 19 years. Just went through the renewal process and instead of the near immediate turn around, we had to wait 2 weeks. It's now approved, but only for 2 years. No reasons given as to why it's now shorter. Was wondering if anyone else has seen similar.
Have been gainfully employed in a senior role for a large MNC for quite a while now. I'll be 60 in 2 years time so still under the retirement age where I know the ICA start taking a closer look at things.

For a PTS scheme PR that may make some sense as you're not likely to retire here on the PTS scheme anyways. Family ties folks like SMS are far more likely to retire here.
