"Nick" is a very nice, quiet, and unassuming Amah who has worked in my home for over 21/2 years. She is a small hardworking women who supports her extended family and has worked on and off for many years here in Singapore. She speaks, reads and writes English as well as speaks a little Bahasa and Cantonese. We are an American's but have lived all over SE Asia and I have trained many maids. We lived on a large landed property with gardens which she maintained and have 2 dogs and a cat. She is quiet, hard working, can follow any recipe and also can cook favorites. Given instruction, a schedule and a defined list of daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly duties, you will be impressed She can assist during entertaining which we did, plays sports and board games with my 12 and 13 year old. She is Christian and attends service as well as being involved in school education programs which we paid for and sports on sundays. I run a generally strict and organized household, tempered by understanding and but held her to a level of expectation I know she can achieve. She has proven to be a loyal amah and will be missed.
She currently makes 700.00 per month plus any food she like to eat. We paid for all transportation and a mobile top up of 20 pm to insure she had a working number if I needed to reach her. There was a NO-PHONE policy during work hours from 6am to after dinner at 8pm unless emergency or during her breaks. She irons well, is neat and clean and is a self starter. We provided her a TV/DVD private room.
NICK IS AVAILABLE ON JUNE 5TH OR POSSIBLY SOONER. If you would like to Interview her please call her directly to arrange interview timings on 65 91480370 or you can reach me to discuss your needs and if she is a potential fit with your needs until June 10 at 65 94230976 Yvette

Work remotely for overseas company and taxation

I am a PEP holder looking for a job in Singapore.

Whilst in Singapore, I am working remotely for my overseas employer (who offers flexible remote working arrangements) - they dont know I am looking for a job in Singapore.

Thing is, if I am in Singapore for more than 60 days, I want to pay Singapore tax. How do I declare my overseas income to IRAS as my foreign employer will not file anything with IRAS for me?

Re: 44 yr old guy looking for an expact gf

Why would I ban you? I'm not the one who is butt hurt. I became agnostic in 1960. I studied most, if not all the major religions of the world and a lot of minor ones as well over a 25 year period until 1984 or 85 (after I'd spend three years studying here as well. I found none that were non-aggressive so therefore I couldn't, in my heart accept any. It is funny in a way, as of all the Christian religions I found Catholicism the most irrational but I still ended up marrying one and have been married to one (Singaporean) for over 40 years. I have two children (adults of 35 and 40 now) and 4 grandkids. All were born and baptized Catholics and my wife raised them that way under the proviso that once they reached their teens if they decided to leave the church, she must let them. I also made a promise to her that I would never interfere with or try to convince them to change. Religions, (all of them) are created by man. The writings are all created by man. Therefore none are the "valid" .....
